David Northrup Railroad Bazaar would like to invite everybody on Tuesday, June 29 6:00pm to our Huntsville location for an Evans Drum Tuning Clinic fallowed by a Bryan Williams performance. The Evans drum tuning clinic directed by Josh Touchton, will focus on techniques to properly tune your drums. Admission is free! There will also be great giveaways during the evening!



New opening hours for Albertville, Decatur and Huntsville

Starting today, May 17, our Albertville, Decatur and Huntsville locations will open at 10:00am (Monday - Saturday). The Sunday hours will still be 1:00pm - 5:00pm in all our stores.

Note: The changes will not apply to our Athens location, which will still open at 9:00am (Monday - Friday). For more informations or questions, click here.

Railroad Bazaar and Ibanez presents: Larry Mitchell Guitar Clinic

We are honored to have Grammy-Award winning artist and Ibanez endorser Larry Mitchell conduct a clinic at our store on Tuesday, November 17.

Larry Mitchell is an adroit and talented axe wielder currently based in San Diego, California (U.S.A.) who represents his playing style as instrumental music with emphasis on the guitar, as a listener can readily appreciate on his most recent album, "Insatiable". His most utilized guitars consist of an Ibanez Blazer and an Ibanez A20n. Mitchell has been playing guitar since 1969, and without beating around the bush discloses his career aspiration, "To keep selling my CDs around the world. To be able to tour three of four times a year."

Join us for a night of fun and a chance to win a Takamine guitar! The event will be hosted by our Huntsville store and it will start at 7:00pm.

After spending years on the road playing country with Marty Stuart, bluegrass with Earl Scruggs, newgrass with Sam Bush, Gypsy jazz with John Jorgenson, and rock with Billy Bob Thornton, Brad Davis steps out front to prove that he can hold his own as a solo artist and band leader.

Brad Davis spent ten years (1992-2002) performing on stage as a member of Marty Stuart's road band. For the past seven years, he has played lead acoustic guitar with Earl Scruggs and Friends, and for the past six years he has played lead electric and acoustic guitar with movie actor Billy Bob Thornton's rock band. He spent two years (2003-2004) as the guitar player for the Sam Bush Band and also performed with John Jorgenson's Gypsy Jazz Quintet in 2005. He occasionally performs with an exciting new bluegrass band, 'Greenbroke', which consists of himself, John Cowan, John Moore, and Dennis Caplinger.
